Growing the next generation of gardeners.
Eden is passionate about engaging with local schools and councils to teach children about sustainable gardening, saving water, and the circular economy of recycled materials. Our education program introduces kids to native plants, water tanks, composting and the joy of growing food, all while building a lasting connection to the outdoor world.
Our wider vision is a real focus on saving water and improving green spaces across Melbourne's north east, partnering with schools and councils on planting days, water wise design and community green projects.

Supporting the community we serve.
Eden is proud to support the organisations and groups that hold our community together. We've sponsored our local State Emergency Service (SES), including a feature ad in their magazine, back the Country Fire Authority (CFA), and stay active in local business networks like BNI. We believe in giving back to the people who protect our neighbourhoods and respond when storms strike.
Eden donates equipment and supports local fire brigade initiatives across Melbourne's north east.
Proud sponsors of our local State Emergency Service, including a feature ad in their magazine and storm season support for the crews who keep us safe.
Active members of our local BNI business network, building referrals, relationships and trust with other Melbourne businesses, and proud to be recognised by the chapter.
Working alongside our local council on trees, permits, water wise planting and open space, so projects across Banyule are done properly the first time.
Banyule is home for us. Our yard sits in Greensborough and most of our crews start the day inside the Banyule boundary, so the relationship we keep with the local council matters as much as the one we keep with our clients.
We work in step with Banyule City Council on the things that shape almost every project in the area. Protected and significant trees, permits for decks, pergolas and retaining walls, water wise planting, and how a new landscape handles stormwater. Sorting that out at the design stage keeps our clients on the right side of local requirements and keeps jobs moving instead of stalling.
Council representatives have visited our yard to see how the team works, what we build with, and how we reuse materials rather than sending them to landfill. Those visits run both ways. They see the standard our crews hold, and we get a clearer read on what council wants to see across Banyule's streets, reserves and residential blocks.
If you live in Banyule and you are not sure what your project needs, ask us. We deal with these requirements every week, and we would rather answer the question up front than watch a good design get held up later.
Eduardo represents Eden at our local BNI chapter, presenting, connecting with other trusted businesses, and being recognised for the work we put into the community.

Questions?
It depends entirely on scope. A garden bed refresh runs to a few days of work, while a full backyard transformation with hardscaping, planting and turf is a multi week project. Eden quotes free, with the scope and timeline written out up front.
Native and indigenous species suited to the local soil and climate. They are hardy, they support local wildlife and they need far less water and attention than exotic planting once established.
Autumn and early spring are ideal for planting because the soil is warm and the weather is mild. Hardscaping work such as decks, paving and retaining walls can be built year round.
Often yes, depending on height, boundary setback and your council. Eden checks the requirements for your council as part of the design and planning stage rather than leaving it to the client.
