Eden
Building & Landscaping
Eduardo grew up on his family’s farm in Cuba, where his passion for the outdoors was born. In his youth, Eduardo enjoyed collecting old rustic objects, and transforming them into yard art for his family and neighbours. When commencing his university studies, Eduardo commuted between his family’s city home and their farm, bringing plants from the farm with him to rejuvenate his indoor spaces and elevate the garden. What started as a hobby, quickly turned into a dream of owning his own business and bringing his designs to life.
Eduardo has travelled through Europe, Asia, North and South America, exploring landscape architecture, lifestyles and cultural celebrations which helped deepen his understanding in the ways people choose to connect with each other and with nature. This has inspired him and influenced his design process to ensure his designs are not only beautiful, but also functional for the way in which the client intends to use the space.
Eduardo continued his travels to Australia in 2011 where he quickly fell in love with Australia’s contrasting landscapes and made it his home. Eduardo continued to extend his knowledge of plants, design and construction through his studies in landscape construction and carpentry. He continues to enjoy exploring and camping with his family in his down time.
Eduardo is extremely passionate about what he does, and has a unique way of combining natural elements to create welcoming outdoor spaces, designed as sacred places to foster connection with loved ones and a space to reconnect with nature. Eduardo has extensive experience operating heavy machinery, and has worked in landscape supply, meaning he has in-depth knowledge of products and processes available. He is an avid problem solver and great communicator, willing to work with his clients to deliver their design to the highest of standards. His friendly and professional team will ensure the process is stress free from start to finish. Our Story
The Origin of
Eden Building & Landscaping
The name Eden was formed by taking the first two letters of the founder's names, Eduardo Enrique, and putting them together. As a devout Christian, this seemed the perfect fit for Eduardo’s business as his garden is his sanctuary, a place for him to connect with loved ones, nature, and with God. The Garden of Eden was said to be an earthly paradise, and a combination of God’s creations and the tender care of man; a place of pure bliss. This is the feeling that Eduardo strives to create in each and every design. Eduardo finds joy in the process of an idea becoming a design, overcoming challenges and watching it all come together.
